Papoose Mini Baabaa gets a haircat Book & Toy

Each of these wonderful and unique children's books come with a beautiful hand-made felt toy that enables kids to act out the story and play with the main character. Part of a series, you can collect the whole farm!

In "Mini-Baabaa gets a haircut" the little sheep gets shorn for the first time and is cold so he has to wear a jumper! The matching felt toy sheep's wooly coat comes on and off and he also comes with a knitted sweater.

HOW IT'S MADE

Originally from the Netherlands, Renske Carbone started Papoose Felt in 2005, focusing on creating toys hand made from natural fibres, with fair labour and safe for children to play with. She works in Nepal and has developed close relationships with the extended family who create her products, visiting about 4-6 times a year to gossip, develop new work and to eat dal bhat! Papoose Felt is made from locally grown Nepalese wool by applying warm water, soap and friction to the fibres. It is a wonderfully versatile, 100% natural and organic material, and is very tactile.
